earthquake in china is seriously a killer to many innocent lives.
my brother told me of a very heartbreaking story of a particular survivor.
This girl happened to be trapped with her baby sis/bro underneath the crumbles of the aftermath of the disaster. They were subsequently found by rescue workers. they said they were thirsty thus rescue workers gave them a bottle of water.
after drinking and sharing a few sips with the little baby, the girl stretched her hands into her pocket and took out 2 dollars. she gave it to the rescue worker , asking if she can buy this bottle of water from him.
it left me totally speechless and touched.
the students were studying in class when the disaster struck upon them. So many lives can be lost at that instant..this shows how fragile lives are.
imagine people with their loved ones lost and found dead underneath crushed buildings that tumbled upon the earthquake.how are they going to live through this transitional period. i wish i can be there to help but though i cant be there, i will do my utmost best.
On a side note, it really reminded me to cherish and treasure the people around me.
charles and keith sales promoter has got an appalling service attitude. she should be re-trained. The purpose of re-training is to make her understand the nature of her job, remind who she is and her position in the company. i thought such situations only happen in newspapers depicting local salespersons. but hell-no. no wonder there are so many people complaining in straits time forum.
